After over a year of campaigning, we unfortunately cannot declare victory in our race for Costa Mesa City Council. This does not mean we weren’t successful!
My family and I are forever thankful for your overwhelming contribution of prayers, time, and hard earned dollars to our campaign. The support we received for our cause was truly humbling, and it will live in my memory as long as I live.
I am proud that we were able to provide a platform for the voiceless in this election. Our neighbors experiencing homelessness need our help. That message was communicated and heard loudly. I will continue this important work and hope to have your continued support as we work to end homelessness.
Furthermore, we were able to demonstrate a collaborative approach to leadership. Many believe collaboration means one must compromise your principles. I believe the contrary. When starting with finding common ground, areas of disagreement will not descend into the hostility that has plagued our great city in recent years. Those leaders can also remain true to their ideals while working together. This is how to effectively drive a message. It was and still is my goal to demonstrate this important principle of leadership, and I believe our campaign was successful doing so.
I look forward to recharging and spending the holidays with my beautiful wife, new little boy, and wonderful family and friends. I will keep you up to date on my future plans. I certainly plan on continuing my goal of serving and improving the City of Costa Mesa.
God bless you, and I am so grateful for your unwavering support.
